Is this border style legal?

Not a good image for this border, I think, but just wanted to know if I can use this border or not on any image for challenges

I don't see why not, I though all borders were legal?

The only mention in the rules I can find is:
"Borders: Your submission may include a border, but the border may not contain any text, clip art, photographs, or other artwork."

Forgot to say, there are a lot of people who say that a border should not be included on a challeneg entry because it detracts from the photo. But I would say the jury is still out on that one.

IMO, that'd be fine for Advanced Editing, and probably ok in Basic Editing too... Try looking back through the older challenges - I'm sure we've allowed similar borders in the past.

thanks Peter and Manic. I was just trying some photoshop thingies and planning to use this for advanced editing only, so I guess this shouldn't be a problem.
Peter, I know using borders or not is one of the hot topics at dpc, but well, I have tried using borders before and might give it another try unless I am really voted down.
