Question for you Digital Rebel owners. When you bought your camera new was it really sealed? There is a question as to whether the boxes come "Sealed" with tape of not. |

When I went to WorldFoto here in Miami to see the 20D, it was not sealed. I don't see the point of "sealing" a package when customers will surely want to touch and feel it in person.
Edit: My Canon Rebel box shows no signs of a prior seal either.

I looked at the box from my DRebel and there dose not appear to be any remains of a seal. I dont remember it having any my when I opened it up. The body and lens might have been in plastic bags but I dont think they were sealed off. Just from looking on the box you can tell that there was definetly no tape on it at anytime. I hope this helps. |
