I'm curious to know what this feature is??? I seem to have to type in keywords all the time or copy them from other sites to save time... is there a faster way??

Yes.
In Photoshop under file info you can add attributes like title, categories nd key words. WHen the file is uploaded then the title and key words are automatcally read and imported.

You also do it with Right click > properties in XP.

ShutterStock parses the Photoshop FileInfo and takes the entry from the "Caption" field and puts that in the SS "Description" area, and the PS "Keywords" are likewise transferred to the SS Keyword area. You still have to select the SS "Categories" from the pull-down selections.

i just joined this shutterstock thing. i uploaded about 113 images at once (i have countless sunsets etc from my excursions to new zealand and fiji)....didnt realize you had to keyword them all etc etc and it would take so long to upload. so i switched to just uploading 7 images, well see how this goes, maybe i'll get one approved. its cool to hear some people have actually received a check after awhile! maybe sometime next year for me...haha.

I joined a few weeks ago, but haven't uploaded yet. I need to take some time to do that. I am glad to see so much positive feedback about this site. I have never done stock photography, but I could use the extra money from the thousands of photos I take, so I'll pick some to upload tonight and try it out :)
