Hi
I'm wondering if it is allowed to resize the canvas as musch as I want?

You can resize your canvas as you like, so that your canvas creates your border (see acceptable borders in the challenge rules).

| Just make sure that the final image -- INCLUDING the border -- falls within the 160/640 pixel minimum/maximum dimensions. |

but lets say i have an image with white background and want to enlarge it by stretching (resizing) the canvas, is this allowed? it won't look as a border.

It is best not to resize UP because this causes a reduced quality, but it is legal.

| Just set the background color to white (or sample and match the edge of your photo) and then enlarge the canvas with that. You are floating your image on a white border...remember DPC will put a 1-pixel black line between the edge of your photo and the gray page background. |
