One of the members of the online gaming community I am a member of has just shipped out for his 2nd tour of duty in Iraq. Another one of the members thought it might be an interesting idea to conduct an informal interview with our friend before he shipped out to get the perspective of someone who has actually been there. After listening to the interview, I thought there maybe be a few people here that would find it interesting as well. The interviewer is not a professional journalist, and you will find the interview is rated PG for a few mild curse words. At the end of the interview the soldier speaks on some of his family issues, so if your easily moved, grab some kleenex.
