Where'd you get the muslins?! I've been searching everywhere. lol
Only place I can find any that I can half-afford are on Ebay, and shipping would slay me.

If you are going to leave it in one place, a long round rod the muslin can be stapled to would work well. It could be rolled up when not in use, and multiple backdrops can be stapled to the same rod (just drap those not used behind the one being used. The whole think can be hung from the ceiling with a couple of pieces of string or hung on brackets from the wall (think shelf supports or hanging plant holders).
I would be interested in knowing where you got a single piece that large, the local stores only have it in 3 foot widths. I would have to sew (have sewn actually) together and then deal with a seam.

I have used a setup like this from B&H
Da-Lite BG Stands
Usually we just clamped the muslin to the crossbar. They also make one with 3 crossbars, so you can hang 3 different BG's. If the BG's are heavy, you may want to put some sandbags on the stand bases.
You can buy muslin BG's at B&H as well in a variety of colors and sizes.

You go to ebay and they sell not only muslin but metal supports. I use a wooden pole like those employed in tree trimmers, etc. I have also combined several poles to give a certain length. I have made supports on the wall and improvise the upholding when I go on site with wire and duct tape. The commercial supports are not easily carried about, hence I use wood. |

I use Manfrotto #005 stands and Manfrotto Autopoles as laterals...they are very light and easily collapsable
