Auto update signatures - DPChallenge Forums

Canon EF 17-40mm f/4.0L USM

I was wondering if it's possible to have the signature auto update across each post. Other forums I participate in have this feature and it's not implemented here at DPC. So if I edit and update my signature, or worse yet make a mistake, I'll have various versions of my signature floating around (as is the case now with a mistake). Can this be done with our forums?

on the opposite side, it would be nice if the camera under the user name didn't change in old posts - when the user upgrades the camera.

Or better yet, list all of the cameras that user has. I doubt people have more than a few cameras listed in their profile. In fact, I need to remove the S230 since it's not even mine and I bought the S500 for myself.

my point was that i was looking at an older thread i searched up, and one of the cameras listed next to a thumbnail was the canon eos-300d - but the posted date was prior to the release of the camera...

Ah ok, I see what you mean. But was the thumbnail linked to that person's portfolio or was it just some other photo?

I still want our signatures to auto update! :)

it was linked to the portfolio, then the right camera was listed under the photo itself.
