I ran across this website last night on accident. Mondo Photo something or another I loved the photo's of the Grand Canyon and emailed Tom, the owner of the website. He took them in February of 2001. I live in Utah and have never been to the Grand Canyon, so I don't know the different places around there. I was wondering if we wanted to have kind of a DPChallenge photo get together outing or something for those that live in the nearby states one weekend at the end of the month or begining of March. |

very cool website! thanks for sharing it.
i like the thought of a DPC get-together. I'm in the Louisiana/Mississippi area...anyone else close by? maybe a trip to New Orleans? lots of great photo opportunities there!
take care, all...

The Grand Canyon is one of the most incredible things I've ever seen. It has burned a place in my memory. I've only been there once and promise to go again as that was many many moons ago.
The Photo site you stumbled across is fantastic. One of the best and most enjoyable sites I've seen. Thanks for sharing. |

In college I use to run trips through our outdoor rec. program to the Grand Canyon. We would spend 5 days in the bottom of the canyon and see some of the most amazing sites.
I have yet to find any pictures that have come close to showing how amazing the Grand Canyon actually is, in scale or grandure.
If you have not been to the Grand Canyon, you owe it to yourself. It will be one of those memories that you will take into your old age.

I didn't even notice the grand canyon pictures first time. Its sad I used to live in Arizona for 8 years but my parents never took me. It think they tried to make up for it by bringing me to Crater Lake in Oregon 3 times. |

That website is really cool. I found it looking for flash cartoons and thought, what is this. Looked through and I love the way he's put it together.
I went and bought some nice Lowa hiking boots yesterday. Can't what to go out there. |
