I'm Looking at the S2 pro, it is available at a reasonable price 2nd hand. Are current users happy with this camera?

Thanks for your feedback in advance! Bob

Bob,

I am not a S2 Pro owner, but I also have a S7000 and have been thinking about upgrading. So, I am interested in the responses you recieve. The one thing that I really want is more megapixels and a larger CMOS. I would not consider upgrading to DSLR unless it was 8MP or more. I find the S7000 versatile enough and of high enough image quality that I think it is worth it to hold out for higer megapixel count. Just my 2 cents.

Hey Bud, I agree but my wife wants to take over the S7000 and she wants me to buy DSLR! That's fine but I don't have the funds to go new at 8mp as I would also like to do.

I can get a new Nikon D70 from a company I have delt with and trust for $1650.00 au body only. But this S2 pro came up and reviews with the Canon 10D were comparitable with the S2 having a better resalution.

What to do, what to do.... :(

Fuji have now brought out the S3 pro so prices of the S2 should drop significantly.

The Fuji S1/S2/S3 are all based on a Nikon body, the insides is all Fuji.
