the bottom line questions for me:

1) do i like the image and did i have fun creating it?

2) did the viewer "get" my image?

when i comment, i'd say 75+% of what i say is of a technical nature (composition, lighting, etc.). but my voting is 90+% the "wow" impact of the image, either from a visual standpoint (including pp), or from the ability of the photo to show me something unique/odd.
