I really wish this idea that favoritism gets people on the front page would disappear. I have never seen it to be the case. Unless by favoritism we are talking about certain styles.
One way to contribute in a positive way is to create your own little ribbons for stuff you like.
I don't always agree with what I see as the winners but I have never even considered or believed there to be any sort of conspiracy. |

Unfortunately, it's because it's what a very great many of us think of when we hear it for the over-abundance of examples. |
