Hello,

I'm a newbie to shooting in a studio, and my employer is going to put together a studio for me to take product shots of books for a catalog I'm designing.

I picked out a package that included three 1000 watt lamps, stands, 2 softboxes, 1 umbrella, a muslin backdrop, barndoors, bulbs and cords. This is probably enough to get started, huh? Except it doesn't come with a light meter. I've never really used one before.

Can anyone direct me to a good site to get light meters and also let me know if there's something else I may need that this package does not include? Also, any tips on what I should look for in a light meter would be great.

Thanks so much!
