-sigh- Watching my score pitifully climb it's way to a 4 really stung a little this week. And as I set this image as my desktop, it came more and more into my awareness that it was the one I really should have submitted. I just thought everyone would dislike it. But dislike it more that the one I submitted? Idonno. Comments?

Hey! You beat me by one spot, and I thought mine was a bit better than what it got. I prefer the photo you submitted to the one with the loads of sunny reflections. *smiles*

I really like the one you didn't submit. I think a dark border may help it a little (sort of 'hold' the photo in).

I gave your submission a 4 (which may have been slightly harsh, sorry). For the one you didn't submit, with a strong border it would probably be an 8 for me, without probably a 6-7.

i'm happy with my results with the cliche this past week ... and i had two photos to choose from ... the one i submitted of course and this one

i think i made the right choice :)

thanks everyone for my comments and score .. it was my highest one yet!

Gracechild ... i actually think the one you submitted is a stronger photo ... because of the color saturation .. but then again the other photo is more clearly a flower image ... maybe try and make that image a little bolder ... darker border would help like paulmdx said :)

Well, congrats everyone on your score. I'm myself quite honoured this week with a 5th place in the before and after challenge! I'm so excited! In the clichés' I didn't score high although I got more than 5 (which is great I think) though I think my picture may have desserved a little more.

I don't think I will do as good with this week's challenges but who knows? It's always a matter of taste more than technical here, isn't it?

Gracechild7: For my part, I prefer the one you didn't submit although it would need more contrast and brighter colours which I think are possible to adjust within Photoshop. The photo you submit was missing focus and this is what may have not helped you. Anyhow, good luck this week!
