...badass, that is. Jacko, you are 1000% right. Just get it.

Just came back from the store with my new 20D. I went out to get some prints developed, and happened to walk by an electronics store. I decided to pop my head in and ask if they had any 20Ds in stock. I was expecting: "yeah, right!" from the rep, but instead he said they had one left. I jumped out of my skin! I hesitated for about a split second, then told him to wrap it up. My regular stores said they did not expect any before the week of the 22nd. There was no way I could have waited that long. I'm so pumped!

This camera feels and works awesome. Took a few shots so far, but today is so dark outside, I had to test out the ISO 1600 and 3200 already. Tried out the 5 FPS too. WOW! This might be the start of a new experience for me. I had better get some bigger flash cards! They fill up pretty fast.

Hopefully tomorrow will be better, and I'll take some real shots.

WOOHOOO~! Back to the camera....

Thanks. Here we go! Wee...!

Here's a shot of my son. Just fooling around using ISO 3200:

Uncropped, slight levels, resize. I'm amazed at the low noise.

Hey, good for you! (Hope your wife is still speaking to you ;-) Awesome that you were able to find one in stock local like that.

Not looking to upgrade yet myself; my dRebel and I have a little further to travel on our road to photographic genius - he he he. But when it's time, I will absolutely be getting one of those 20D's.

My wife is still speaking to me, a little. I have alot of difficulty hearing her, though, because of the sound of the 5 FPS clicking away. LOL!
