I took those portraits today and had some ps fun with them.


I would be very interested in some critisism...

One of the hardest things for me is glasses and watching for the reflections and shadows they make. Usually I don't see them until I get back to my computer. The glasses shadow across the young lady's face is quite dark and distracting. I like her unusual pose and the duo-tone.

Granny looks to be the life of the party!

Oops... You are right! The distracting shadow was fixed!

1 and 3 are very nice. I don't much care for the texture in 2...almost looks like a disease on her face or something.

Your granny has a very nice smile, I bet she is a real awesome granny!

I'm with Sonifo on this one... I don't like the texture in 2, but the others are very nice. Maybe try a crosshatch or a similar softer filter if you are going for a different texture?

That makes a big difference to remove those shadows!
