Hi, For those of you who remember my stupid blunder. I am the one who submitted a test picture for the Master's Challenge in the Sports Action Challenge to see how it would look online and forgot to unsubmit it. Not only did I come in 2nd to last in that challenge for entering a picture that had nothing to do with the contest, but I wasn't able to use the picture as my submission in the Master's Challenge. I decided to go with a completely different idea and now that the challenge is over I was wondering which picture you liked better. Could you please tell me whether you liked my unentered picture better
1)

or the picture which I submitted better
2)

I know they are very different but I would appreciate your input. If you wish just respond with 1 or 2. Thank you very much :)

#2. This one is really original, and while both are beautifully done, the pattern image stands out. That's hard to do in your cohort.

2 as well, for the same reasons sfalice mentioned. :) i think your blunder was kismet. :)

Although your 1st shot is gorgeous, I much prefer your 2nd shot.
It's also much more unique and original.

I am torn. The first one, while more "common", has such enduring beauty for me. Your master's entry is most definitely eye-popping and superbly done, but I one of those just a tad, eensy-weensy tired of the more slick set-up shots. I hope you take this in the spirit intended - I love both shots, but "today" I actually lean towards the first.

I'd go with #1 - it's gorgeous!!

I vote for #1- for an odd reason. The second one is too graphic. It looks more like an illustration than a photo to me.

I like # 2, when I look at someones picture I think to myself would I hang that on my wall, and where? Well I would hang #2 and I would hang it above my bed.

I like #1 better, I think it's a better photo, but I think #2 was a better entry for the challenge, because there were quite a few nature/landscapes and your picture #2 is rather unique (for the challenge).

I gave you a 10. The landscape one would have gotten an 8 or 9 from me. I have to agree with Bobster, the originality just spoke to me. Lovely work.

Thanks for the input. Looks like #2 has it by a hair so far.

I scored #2 a 9. Its original and interesting. #1 is good but doesn't wow me like 2 does.

2 if there was a bit more editing to it. I still like!

Your first one has greater appeal to me but I'm not sure if that would translate to a higher score in the challenge.

I love the first one It's beautiful
2nd one is very clever but I am not keen on it as an image (Migrain material to me)
I think it did well though and it was probably the right shot to go in the Masters challenge.
Both are really good images so well done

Number 2. I think it's a shame it didn't do better. However, I couldn't figure out how the two larger vases had such patterns given the backdrop. Now I've read your note, I understand. Sly!

Easily #2. A lot of thought and just a crazy overall effect.

hey i remember you , how could i forget (hopes you remember me even though im best forgotten :P ) nah erm to photo talk
i think for the challenge the second one is better.... ive already commented ( i believe) on the vases and as to what i thought about them - quick rundown of that comment is that it just had way too much happening in the photo and the eyes were darting everywhere.... while the first is a gr8 photo i guess being a photographer its about setting yourself apart from others and i think the 2nd photo does that a heck of alot better....!!!
as i said would have liked to see it a bit toned down with the large number of contrasts but would have deffinitely rated it higher than the first considering its something that stands out more from the pack and shows ingenuity ( something which i lack but you obviously have)
either way congratulations on 2 great photos and given the challenge i would have voted 2nd one higher ! :)

Although I do agree that your second shot is more original, I'd have to agree with train -- it makes my eyes and head hurt after a few seconds. The first one is gorgeous and would have scored higher from me.
