I have been playing around with my camera, just trying to find something...anything to shoot. These are some recent ones done in my "quick" blanket and house lamp studio. I plan on investing in better things when the funds become available...until then...this is what i have
any suggestions would be great
also i recently created a portfolio, some have been seen before..some are new...any comments would be a great help....i'm just a sponge here...fill me with all your photographic water.

thanks

I like the portrait, just needs a little light adjustment. Try lightening in PS or similar, but don't overdo it and lose the atmosphere.

As I keep telling you, you are getting better everyday and using your photographic eye for composition etc.

Keep taking those photos!!

Sorry, riotspyne, but you have been a great help to me, I find by looking at your progress I can see that I am not really moving on too much.

It is great watching you improve, but don't improve too much that you dump me down lower in challenges.

I see you noted the change in the user name, got so much canine crap that I am now Formerlee, Wolfie!!

Keep at it!!

For some reason I just love the top shot....it's what I would want to produce myself.

But for the portrait, well I hate neat image so I can't really comment.

We are all starchildren in the universe of photography, we are on a journey that takes forever.

Each step along the path of discovery is a step towards enlightenment.

Just check that your focus is straight ahead and sharp.

Look at shot and consider, can it be better? Can it be sharper? Would it look better in colour? Do I really want to change what I see?

The whole point of taking photos is to capture your own moments, so go for it!!

Your creative eye is really showing through! I, personally, prefer a little more contrast, but that is a very subjective taste. Your work relaly is accelerating as already pointed out. Kudos to you!

Thank you kylie...i am pretty much a DPC addict I start in the morning when I wake up....and every free moment throughout the day i am reading and studying and trying things out I usually stop about 2 am. There is just too much to learn. This website has so much info in the past threads I think I will always have something to study.
