Pardon me if I'm missing something obvious -- where does one get the $10 coupon?

I don't understand. The price is listed at $224.99. How do I get it down to $139.99? I'm sure I'm over looking something.
Thanks!

I think you probably have to be a regular shopper at Amazon, and be presented with a special or something like that.
Question though: the 1GB CF card is different from a microdrive card? |

Actually, it was 139.99 yesterda ... there was a special discount. It's gone today. Probably a mistake ... 'cause that was a swweeeeett deal

It was a rebate, for which the last day was yesterday. I bought it just under the wire, but ran into a complication -- the item is backordered, and the expected shipping date is AFTER the deadline to have the rebate request postmarked!
I have an email in to find out what to do. If I can't get the rebate I'm going to cancel the order.

Yes, A micro drive is a miniature hard drive with moving parts and consumes a pretty good deal of power. CF has no moving parts and is very power friendly. CF tends to be a bit faster too, I think.

cj, call up amazon if you are concerned, i think the rebate is from them and they have been honoring rebates even though the dates haven't been correct.

Also, a microdrive is compact flash TYPE 2, which will not work in cameras that have a CF type 1 slot.

Do you have a phone number for them? I can't locate one on the site. The only number I have is for the rebate processor.
