another one of these million threads about a guy (like me...) wanting an opinion on a photography. I don't want no flower and i'm looking for hard comment as well as good ones but i'd really like some on this because if you guys think it's original and worthy I'm thinking about offering some of my photography with that king of effect. So here it is, interesting or not?

It would all depend on what you were thinking when you created this imege :)
Seriously, what's the idea or concept behind it? |

As a thumbnail it looks intriquiing. But when I look at the photo, I am not sure "why" the outer layers are there. If it were an overlay of another image, those can be cool. But all I see is an irregluar border of several colors interacting. The shape does work well in the thumbnail. Maybe if you tried using something else as the overlay? |

The original of this church from your portfolio is a wonderful shot. I agree with xion, the concept of what you're trying to achieve is important. It has the works of an out of frame image, an example in my link.

Nic, if I'm being honest (and it's hard to do, not wanting to hurt feelings) but I'm not really liking this... I love the original, I think it's beautiful! I'm interested in your thinking/concept as well. Maybe I'm just not seeing what you want us to see....

Well, there was no real concept behind this. I just found this technique and found the result visually interesting. Thanks to everyone who replied. I'm gonna have to find another way to use this maybe with a more subtle effect like B&W to sepia or B&W to color or sepia to color using smoother transition like suggested peete. Thanks to all.
