I was talking to a friend of mine about moving to Hawaii. We are decided to shoot for Oahu. Anyways, I would only be living on an island for about five months starting in January, but he would continue to live there "for at least a couple of years." He wants to work in construction there. As for me, I was going to transfer there from my current job at Costco. Do you or anyone you know live on Oahu?

my brother lives there. he loves it. alot of the surfing competitions are on that island. its a beautiful place.

not sure what part, he rents a house from a professor that teaches at his school.

There are a few Costco stores on Oahu: Mililani, downtown & Hawaii Kai. Maybe you could work there while on the island.

I have an aunty and uncle that live about 10 min or so from the Mililani Costco. And there is a HUGE Costco on the Big Island and I mean HUGE. Good luck and hope you get your transfer!
