I noticed some of you uses PBase.com as a server for your photographic galleries. It is worth it?, there's other servers alike?. Thanks.

I am a huge supporter of pbase. For very little money, they supply a very good and customizable service for anyone wanting to store and display their images. The stability of their servers is also to be commended.
It is not cutomizable enough to use as a professional storefront, but then again, it is not designed to be that.

| Ditto -- pBase has a very simple system perfectly suited as a complement to what we do here. It's only $23/year. |

Ofoto will do it for free, but everyone who wants to look at a picture has to sign in.
Yahoo will also host your albums for free, but the addresses are a bit lengthy. |

Actually, in the next few week, i'll be opening a site dedicated to hosting photography... also very very cheap!.

What are the stats on your equipment?

Running on a Linux server, i will have 7 gigs of space with 20gig of bandwidth/month and plans to offer very competitive rates...Since i'm starting off they will most likely be cheaper (maybe even free for my beta test users) than the competition. I'm now working out the design details. I love the work i've seen on DPchallenge and pbase, i'd like to foster more of this wonderful activity.
