A new company Z Camera plans to launch a new Go Pro sized camera which uses Micro four-thirds lenses.

Maybe it's real, who knows, but the writeup is hilarious. A quick look at their site shows it's not a Vegas-based company, though it makes for a good read:

But what I admire most is their confidence: "The company is planning to sell the E1 for a relatively low price of $699 if/when it hits store shelves."

And they're trying to raise $42,000 to launch it. $42,000. Seriously? And look at the photo of their team. People are cut out of the frame of a camera company's employee photo.

And this bit is the icing on the cake: "...early contributions of $449 and up will be rewarded with an E1 camera when it starts shipping in December 2015 (if all goes according to plan)."

Coincidentally, I'm also developing a camera, and if you send me $349 (bargain in comparison) I will send you one of my cameras if/when all goes according to plan.
