Mac Design Magazine and Digital Photo Pro are two of my faves! Subscribe to Popular Photography too but the content has left me feeling a bit wanting lately.

I used to get Outdoor Photographer and Petersen's Photographic, and I just switched over to LensWork and Camera Arts. It's only half as much reading , so I might add Rangefinder, if I like the next issue, too.

The Japanese magazine kick butt! But it helps if you can read Japanese. I get Cameraman each month, 'coz it's the cheapest. Asashi Camera is also very good, so is Photo Technique. These are really tomes, covering the technical stuff, artistic views, product reviews and, well, everything.

Outdoor Photography
National Geographic
Arizona Highways
Backpacker

The first is for the "how to". The last three are for inspiration.

I just subscribed to these two this year, got a decent student deal, $9 each per year:

Popular Photography
Photographic

Outdoor Photographer
Rangefinder
Sudio Photography & Design
Photo Life
Petersen's
and PopPhoto.

Naturally they tend to stack up. But mostly because half of those were free.

I don't subscribe to any, but I buy some sometimes. What I have about photography magazines is the huge advertisement section in the back. Do they HAVE to have those? Sometimes HALF of the magazine is ads, it drives me crazy.

Edit: While at Charles du Gaulle airport yesterday, I bought the British magazine Photography Monthly. I thought it was pretty cool. I really liked it, maybe I'll subscribe.
