Sorry if this is a bit off topic..

I'm looking for a beginner's guide to Adobe Illustrator for my dad. He'll mostly be using it for DTP work, but I think a general introduction will cover a lot of what he wants.

Any suggestions greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Get a Dummies book - they are very good for beginners.
