I am checking the votes lately, since I came back and beyond... Here is my theory about getting lower votes...
Not many fresh faces around here.
What do I mean by that? First, I think there are way too little voting crowd, most of them are members for a long time. So, when you stay in one place that long, you do get experienced more and things get less attractive to you. It doesn't mean you less value stuff, it means you less value stuff vs what you have learned and improved over the years.
I used to do all kinds of stuff to bring new members... I am not doing that anymore, I won't do that anymore. However, if you think you have large group of people you can bullhorn to, it would be kind of nice to mention this website!
