I haven't noticed too many dimage z users but maybe someone somewhere can help me!
I can't take pictures of RED.
Nope. I can't.
My camera won't auto-focus on anything red (mainly flowers...other larger objects aren't as bad), and the manual focus feature is absolute crap. I've yet to master it, but even playing around with the feature and, say, a red rose, the final outcome is a blob of red with no delineation. It can't pick up the lines of shadow, or overlapping petals, nuffin'!
I'm wondering if anyone knows of some feature on the camera to work around this problem...or, I guess, someone to just tell me I'm assed out until I can afford a better camera :)
It isn't so bad since I don't particularly want to take a million pictures of red roses, but it does "bleed" over into other reddish colors - pink, orange, etc. I just had the hardest time trying to photograph a pink gerber daisy...
Anyway, any insight would be appreciated...!
