That is the most untrue thing I've heard on these forums in ages. I reckon that if I really wanted to I could win a ribbon when i wanted to, I'd have to sell my soul to do it though.

Based upon a straight down the middle shot that appeals to the majority, vary from what the majority likes and your score will suffer. |

Yes I agree, but those are score and scores don't equal best.
I'll be frank, on the front page right now only SaraR's photo wouldn't be immediately erased from my library. |

Normally it takes me 30 minutes to drive to work but yesterday it took me an hour. Same car, same driver, same road conditions... only difference is that there was a bad accident that had a significant impact on traffic.
Ever consider the remote possibility that you photo simply did not resonate with the voting public and that this may have had a significant impact on the score you got.

Well I took the bus yesterday and had a fabulous walk that took me till I got to my destination.
It was a 10. |

My point is SEG said that every single shot in that challenge was at the persons average vote received or higher, you're the one who pointed out that he said that. |
