Hi all

I was shooting dance party last night , it was disco lights very dim.

It was so hard to put it on autofocus and shoot , i had to put it to manual and try my best.

Anyone knows any trick to shoot at low light party ? Thanks

the D70 has a little light that comes on during auto focus, but i personally don't trust auto focus, ever.

Welcome to shooting in the dark! It helps to have the auto illumination thingy turned on. Also, Ive noticed that wide angle lenses will focus faster Than a 50mm or 85mm. Then again, maybe it is the aperture setting that makes a difference. Or....could be that my 50mm is slower because ive dropped it twice. ;)

Just have a fast enough lens. About the only thing I can suggest.
