Made a frame and painted it today for a photo of mine that I ordered from DPCPrints over a year ago. I had matted it and never framed it. I struggled a little with the frame color but I am very happy with the color I chose. First I tried black for the frame and it was just not the look I was after. What do you all think? Comments are welcome. The over all picture size is about 20"x10.5".
It's a little hard to tell in the photo but the mat is actually a navy blue.

It looked even better in person today when you showed it to me. Good job. |

Just personally I don't really like colored frames, I prefer black/white/ or some sort of industrial metal.
That's just me...nice shot, though. |

I think overall it looks great, but to be honest my first impression was that there were too many rectangles with such a large width frame, a big border, and then the somewhat broad white inside border. But that's just my initial impression: After looking longer, I think it works aesthetically. |
