my stopped action II submission was not an illusion.
the coin is actually spinning furiously - about midway through it's spin cycle. i took about 20 shots before i both got the coin centered, and also had it facing in a pleasing position.

i took 4 shots prior of a stagnant coin to get the lighting, and white balance correct. many thought it was a set up. just clarifying.
