My first challenge ! Imagine or remember your own feelings in this situation...
I'm happy !
Call me mad if you want , 59 of 283 is not to run and open a wonderful bottle of french Champagne (I'm aware of it) but it's not bad for a pet photo.
Thank you very much for the comments left and for the so kind member who selected it as favorite.

Hey, I think you did real fine in getting your feet wet. You did it with a good comp. Keep up the good work and remember that improvement is never linear. The main thing is to start working early on your challenges. Post the image and then rack you brain to try to beat it. If you do, just upload the new one. Always take more shots than you need and do not forget to throw in a few variations with different lighting and camera angles.

All in all, congratulations I do like your image. Now, go get 'em !

Congrats Mambe.....that was a lovely shot you entered in the challenge. I liked the colours, the subject (I love cats :)), and the way you cropped it.

I've found the challenges great for getting me out taking pictures of subjects I would never have thought to take, and with the comments you can't help but learn. I've also found myself looking up at the clock and realising it was the middle of the night and I'm still playing with drops of water!! It's also a community where if you have a problem and type 'help' you get it!!

Will look forward to seeing your future challenge entries, enjoy them
