Logic.
The logic [I am a big fan thereof] falls short, as it is based on assumptions.
How does Bernard and Albert know what Cheryl said to the other?
She says:"Iâll give you some clues"
Then her clues are:
- She wrote down a list..
- âMy birthday is one of these,â she said.
- Then Cheryl whispered in Albertâs ear the month â and only the month â of her birthday. To Bernard, she whispered the day, and only the day.
So Albert does not know what Cheryl told Bernard, and vice versa. Does not know that it was a date, a month, her phone number, or whatsoever. That clue was not given to them.
End of riddle.
