I have Just taken part in my first DPC competition (in fact my first ever photo competition)
I was 124th out of 274 so I am happy with this as a start point and this gives be a base to build upon.
I am however concerned about the voting processes.
I received quite a spread of results but more importantly:-
1s - 2
2s - 9
3s - 32
So 43 scores of 3 and below yet only I only had 1 comment.
My understanding is that if we vote 3 or below we are "encouraged" to leave a comment. Whilst I recognise that this ay not always be possible
I feel that 1 out of 43 is a pretty poor show.
We are all looking to improve and are therefore genuinely interested in where these improvements can be made.
So as a genuine plea to all those out there. Please, if you think that the image rates a low score; give some feedback on how it can be improved.
I am a newbie (3 Weeks) here so I am sorry if this topic has appeared before, I could not find something similar in the archives.
Slainte!
pronounced slange!) That's Gaelic for "cheers".
