The score on my image is miserably abysmal - a straight descent from a dizzying 5.0 at take off. Yet, I knew I was taking a risk when I entered it. No one's fault but my own. Meanwhile, I'm trying to vote and comment.

Mine is on generally the same sorry trajectory. I am just hoping things level off soon. |
The worst it can do is to asymptote to 1.0... so our scores have to plateau at some stage :) |

Mine is doing better than I thought, as it is quite subtle and unconventional. Slightly above meh

I was really hoping that, if I beat MAK, that the highest average div 1 forgot to enterĂ¢€Â¦ I forgot that leading lines was for the plate!!!! :( |

| Of lost count of times I've gone from 5.62 to 5.71 in one foul swoop! Which tells me it's a love or hate image, which I don't quite understand, but I'll cop it on the chin. |

Voting pattern over the last 10 years hasn't changed much, however, the amount of votes have. I can remember receiving over 150 votes on an image back in the day that means by about 70 votes it has levelled out. These days you wake up with a 7.4 at 8 votes and midweek its down to a 5.8 at 23 votes (this is an exaggerated example and not my actual vote/score).
I used to get hung up on scores and WHY is my shot score this that the other blah blah blah but these days I simply enjoy the challenge and take a photograph for my own pleasure.
I cannot wait for the teams to be back then it becomes even more fun. |

But with fewer people voting, a vote of 1 - 3 can make a big difference these days, and it takes longer to climb back up, especially if it happens 30 mins before rollover which has happened to me.

| A votes a vote though people don't vote differently because there is less people voting, it'd be better if more people voted in the 3-4 and 6-7 groupings than just 5 5 5 5 5 5 etc |
