:-D

What was sad, usually I get my kids and I totally forgot myself.

The last april fools joke I played, I set my kid's alarms one hr ahead, these kids HATE being late to anything.
They woke me up all frantic and so upset that their alarm did not wake them up and they were late, I was just taking my time, making breakfast, sitting and eating, staying in my jammies, they are all running around throwing things together to get out the door. They were heading out the door and realized I was still at the kitchen table eating breakfast with my jammies on..

Mom! Common We are late!
I said.. eh, I will call ya in come have breakfast.. NONO we got to go NOW..

I told them to look on the stove and wall clocks and they were just beside themselves. They realized the time and laughed.
They thought they were too old for jokes

I think that was the best April fools I played and got them good :-)

I hope other's remembered or did something fun if so what did you all guys do?

Oh, good one!

I think my best April Fool's Day joke of all time was played against my college roommate.

A few weeks before he'd mentioned that he was worried about his financial aid, due to grades. So I used a little vulnerability in mail relay servers to send him a couple of e-mails that appeared to come from the Admissions & Financial Aid offices, telling him that his scholarship had been revoked and his financial aid was retroactively cancelled, leaving him in a situation where he not only had lost his ride, but actually owed money to the school.

Needless to say, 5 minutes after I sent the e-mail he started on the "OH SHIT" warpath trying to figure out how to fix this. After I let him call both offices and thoroughly confuse the hell out of the staff, I let him in on the joke. Now, mind you, he's an ex operator with the Navy, and has been through the ringer in the Middle East, so not exactly the sort of guy most folks would mess with. LOL, I thought he was gonna try to take me down for a minute, but then he just DIED laughing and agreed that it was one of the best pranks he'd ever seen. 30 minutes later he was trained on the procedure and dropped the bombs on several of his friends. ..

Good times!

Whe my daughter was 8 or 9 she wanted to dye her hair pink. I said no over and over again. She went to bed March 31st angry at me for not letting her dye it but little did she know I had bought a temporary dye and when she was sleeping I put it on her hair with the help of my sister! We had to leave the room several times because we were busting a gut trying not to laugh! We had one side done and then wondered how we would get the other side. We waited and then she rolled over and we completed the process!!

When she woke up and saw herself in the mirror she screammed at the top of her lungs. With a serious face I asked what was wrong. She wouldn't come out of the washroom knowing I 'd be mad. I pretended I was and asked her how she could go behind my back like that. I grounded her from EVERYTHING... she tried so hard to convince me that she didn't do it...after 30 minute or so I said happy April fools day and she cracked up laughing and went to school with pink hair!!
