just past rollover, so nothing yet; i'm hoping for mid 5's with this, though i anticipate high 4's to maybe a 5.1

Thought I had a strong entry that nailed the typical "Stock", but the collective doesn't agree. Maybe I'll actually put it on shutterstock and see how it does in the real world.

I have to agree, as someone who has tried to get stock photos accepted on several sites, and who has been successful with a few. They actually tell you up front, "photos of x, y, z will not generally be considered.". But if you look back, there was a lot of top placers that were " x, y, z" in the previous Stock Photography challenges. |

Just thinking out loud here... I don't go to stock sites, don't really know much BUT... I think the idea is that stock sites are where I would go if I want a picture to buy and hang on my wall, right?
So I guess I should only vote on the images I would want to see everyday hanging up in my living room?
Ok wait... that's what I do with every challenge so .... how is this different? I'm so confused.

You are trying to take a shot that an advertising company will purchase.
Something they may use online, a billboard, a magazine add, etc.
