| Basicly, one can't send a photo to the contest AFTER it started. So one can't take a photo AFTER the time limit, right? |

You can't take (actually, you can take, but not submit) a photo after the VOTING has started. You MUST take your photo after the contest is announced.
Once the voting is over, people often post out-takes (or other shots which couldn't be submitted) for comments, in the context of the known results.
For example, in the thread on Stop Motion II results, I posted a photo I would have submitted except it was taken a couple of hours too early. |

I guess I dodn't explain myself ):
If the contest starts at sep. 28, and I take a photo at sep. 29,
but it is still BEFORE the contest starts (because I am 8 hours
or so ahead of you), is this OK?
It means the EXIF will show sep. 29, but it is still before the contest begin. So is this OK? Does it mean that as long as I take the photo in time to submit is, it is OK? |
