I am thinking of entering a photo comp. where the theme is "Cool". My subject is a Cool colour.....Blue.
Does this "work" for anyone and which of the two would be the best candidate?
Thanks |

Spelling correction.
I forgot that "Color" has no "U" in it on this site.
Apologies for any confusion. |

I like the first one better. I think it's really good! But I have to admit it didn't really give me a "cool" feeling.
It made me think of iron or some other kind of metal, but not necessarily chilly...
the second one looks a little bit ~too~ edited. I can't really say if it is actually edited as much as it looks, but something about it makes me feel ... ehh.... melting...

Plan "B" then......Artistic nude of wife stuffed in the freezer! |

How long does it take for a wife to turn blue in a freezer ? |

A lighter shade of blue and white might work to convey the feeling better.
The first one is definitely better -- while the background is too busy in both of them (for my tastes), the first has enough contrast to stand out.

Thanks David. I'll try the modifications that you suggest.
Anyway plan "B" possibly not such a popular concept.
