I was looking around for some nifty new toys to add to my digital imaging tool kit and I located this through 'Tucows'. It's an inexpensive and small footprint application that seems to have some decent power built into it.

I played around with a it a little last night and was pleased with the results, but I can't help but think that there is likely a number of plug-ins available for The GIMP, PS, PS Elements and other photo editing software that can generate the same effects.

I am curious to know if buying this would be worthwhile. Personally, I prefer not to spend any money and use either freely available or the tools I already own. Of course, I am probably talking to the choir when I say that...
