The Boy In The Striped Pajamas. Very sad throughout and ending. While I have added it to my list of favorite movies, it is very emotional.

in an ironic twist, you're misspelling of 'striped' made me laugh. unless the movie you're describing was about Michael Jackson :) |

Hard Candy was disturbing. The story gives you have empathy for the "wrong" person at certain points. He happens to be a photographer. And, it seems, something not so nice. But there is certainly a twist. Pretty unique, dark, and depressing IMHO
