I can't believe this omission... insects are a standard part of traditional wildlife photography, as far as I'm aware.

Hey, what about molluscs?

How can there possibly be a challenge without molluscs?????

Big time. Molluscs put the "wild" in wildlife. They are party animals.

Or marsupials! How can they forget the wombats?!

(edit: on second thought, I guess they are a sub-class of mammals, so it's all good. :)

not going to be any way to prove it's a 'natural' environment though.

zoo animals will win this one.

So...in all seriousness are there any wild animals near you at all?

Edit: Not that I feel too bad, there are never any naked people around when it's time for a nude challenge...

It looks like the Native Africans get the upper-hand this challenge.

there are birds most every where I believe, and what about small wild animals even in downtwon where I live we have tons of racoons and skunks. Of course I leave for safari on the 1st but there is no way to get a shot submitted for then, if it was only a few weeks later--grr. : )

One can always shoot rats (or pigeons) in their "natural" environment ...

I thought they were reptiles...

Actually, I don't know what I'm talking about...it just seemed like the cliche thing to say.

I thought they were reptiles...

According to the Nolo Press Lawyer Joke site the official mascot of the legal profession seems to be the shark.

Reptiles are good animals!
