Any of you really good with setting up PayPal shopping carts?

This isn't related to photography... but I suspect some of you are good with this stuff :)

My brother and his friends are opening a bar in Pittsburgh, and they are selling t-shirts with their logo on it. They'd like to cut people a break on shipping when they buy multiple shirts, rather than charging a flat fee per shirt.

I can tell PayPal to add shipping to an item, and charge a smaller amount for additional items, and that seems to work. But the problem is that this only seems to work if someone orders multiple shirts of the same size.

For example, if someone orders 5 medium shirts, it will calculate the shipping as $15 on top of the price of the shirts ($5 for the first shirt, then $2.50 x 4 for the remaining 4 shirts = $15).

The problem is that if someone orders a number of shirts in different sizes, it will start over with that calculation each time. In other words, if someone orders 4 shirts... one 2XL, one XL, one L, and one M, it's going to add $5 shipping for each of those shirts, rather than discounting the shipping for the second, third and fourth shirts.

I'm not super experienced with setting up the PayPal carts in the first place... any advice will be appreciated :)

PS -- You can see what I'm trying to do at this test location:

They might look into using Priority Mail Flat-Rate shipping so it doesn't mmatter how many shirts they order (can probably send 1-10 for the same price that way) -- that might encourage ordering more than one at a time too ...

I finally figured it out after making a call to their support line... thx, though :)

Well, I may harass you for the info if I ever set up a site for selling something ... :-)
