Any of you really good with setting up PayPal shopping carts?
This isn't related to photography... but I suspect some of you are good with this stuff :)
My brother and his friends are opening a bar in Pittsburgh, and they are selling t-shirts with their logo on it. They'd like to cut people a break on shipping when they buy multiple shirts, rather than charging a flat fee per shirt.
I can tell PayPal to add shipping to an item, and charge a smaller amount for additional items, and that seems to work. But the problem is that this only seems to work if someone orders multiple shirts of the same size.
For example, if someone orders 5 medium shirts, it will calculate the shipping as $15 on top of the price of the shirts ($5 for the first shirt, then $2.50 x 4 for the remaining 4 shirts = $15).
The problem is that if someone orders a number of shirts in different sizes, it will start over with that calculation each time. In other words, if someone orders 4 shirts... one 2XL, one XL, one L, and one M, it's going to add $5 shipping for each of those shirts, rather than discounting the shipping for the second, third and fourth shirts.
I'm not super experienced with setting up the PayPal carts in the first place... any advice will be appreciated :)
