I almost forgot! So I thought I'd warn other last minute people. :)

I think I'm not going to enter this one, but I had completely forgotten it, so, thank you :)

Thanks, I hadn't noticed, either.

Oh, no! I hadn't noticed that at all. Dash, all my shots relied on a degree of cropping. Hey-ho, I enjoyed exploring the idea any way.

Thanks, Wendy. I would have surely missed that.

I had checked it too, when it first came out. But then I forgot in the meantime. :)

I like what I have submitted but really im sure it will come across very shoe hornish

I watch for these. My best processing shows through in this editing style!

I had submitted, then noticed. Darn. Reshooting now.

blech. I've shot three different times today. And each session sucked. Simple isn't necessarily interesting. Mine definitely isn't. :(

Did I mention how much I hate minimal editing? Sigh. I turned up the sharpness in my camera a tad, and the sharpen command oversharpens and you can't control it.

The exposure is just a little off, but it chimped just fine.

They were boring pictures, but just minor adjustments were needed.

blech.

Rant over.

Well, here it's over. I'll keep ranting in my head a bit. :)

It's a very good exercise. But I hate exercising. :)

Minimal is good for me. I don't do photoshop at all, so my shots are all reliant on the basics of photography, That is probably why I don't do too well.

I thought I liked minimal editing. I was wrong. Or at least my likes have changed. (Shots look fine on the tiny camera screen, but I'm having color issues once I look on the computer.)

Got another hour to keep trying...

Many color issues go away with a simple conversion to grayscale ... :-)

Thanks for the tip. (I just reread rules and realized I could do desaturation in camera.)

But - I played with a new camera accessory I had gotten a month ago and all the sudden there was this fabulous image - straight out of camera.

I have to admit, that felt really exciting. I am in.

I love minimal...

saves me so much time and cures a bit the addiction to DPC. Shoot, resize, rotate if needed, sharpen and submit
