I have a bunch of photos that I want to A: Make all roughly the same dimensions B: Do some basic color/tone correction and C: Add a white border around the edge to give it that printed picture look. Is it possible do all those things in a batch with LR/PS?

It is possible, especially if you don't plan to crop them individually.

You need to process one image while recording an "Action", then process a folder of images using that Action. It would probably be better to break it into a few smaller Actions to start, and process some "sample" images to test that it is working as you want before processing a big folder.

FWIW I've found batch processing in IrfanView (Windows-only) to be much simpler to set up for basic steps like re-sizing, renaming, and changing the format (e.g TIFF to JPEG) than creating a PS Action. However I'd do any batch color adjustment in PS or LR.

ETA: If you do need to crop them individually, I would do that first, then batch-process the results. Remember that you can save a color adjustment (e.g. "Curves") and quickly re-load it if all images need about the same processing.

Thanks Paul, I feel silly for not thinking about an action, I think I've done it like that before it's just been a long time.

In PS, you can also apply the action to a selected batch from Bridge instead of the folder method that PS supports. I have done de-noising this way where I can select everything at a specific ISO and apply one action, then a different ISO and a different action. If you are doing everything in a folder anyway, this method obviously won't matter.
