I took two tests, and got polar opposites.
I am a blend of Oscar Wilde and Dwight D. Eisenhower. |

it's even hard to tell based on these tests.
I have an extroverted job (desktop computer support) where i am at desks with 'strangers' all day. many people see that still as introverted as it's possible to never interact aside from "hi. i'm here to fix your computer" and then the person sits quietly until they are done.
i scored introvert on one test, extrovert on another based on the presentation of wording. If i was to be asked "do you go out of your way to speak to people" i would say "no" - guiding the test more to the introverted side; however if it was phrased "do you have any problems with initiating a conversation with a person you do not know?" i would say no - guiding the test more to the extroverted side; however, just because i have no problem starting and carrying on a conversation with someone doesn't mean i go out of my way to do so, rendering the test situational at best. |

I remember at one job, my boss making everyone who worked for him take this kind of personality profile test and then using those results to give him insight into who would be easier to manipulate or control. |

we had mandatory 3-day seminars on this with the 3 team leaders, 2 managers and director present at each this year as well.
I was the only person on the 30-person team who scored in my "role", and on several occasions while speaking, my director would try to "correct" what i was saying several times and the instructor cut her off saying "that's exactly what your employee was saying - listen to how he says it and think about the personality matrices we've discussed" |

That sounds more like how it's supposed to be used. However, this guy could have given Machiavelli lessons... |

ISFJ
The interesting question to me is whether the results reflect at all on the type of photography we each explore and enjoy. For instance, I am a bit introverted, which probably tells something about why I do not shoot many photographs of people. However, I rated stronger toward feeling than thinking which is contrary to the more analytic, less artistic, nature of my photos.
Thoughts?
