I thought this was fascinating, though the arachnophobiac in me is glad that all we see of the spider are 4 of the eyes and not the whole, creepy, crawly little bugger.

Still pretty awesome if this ever becomes something that gets adopted into imaging.

Though I share your spider aversion, this would be very cool!

I just like the spider! These little guys (and they are mostly *tiny*) are some of the most interesting denizens of my yard, and are endlessly challenging to photograph. They do tend to show "interest" in things, though, so they don't just automatically run away when confronted with the monstrous "eye" of the macro lens :-)
In short, jumping spiders are just way cool!
