I have a friend who runs a Thrift Store for a local charity. Someone donated some older film cameras. 1980's vintage. After doing some research here is what I came up with for value. Does anyone know anything about these cameras and lenses and are these reasonable prices to charge? They are in very nice shape and do not appear to have been used much. There were also three flash units but he is not sure they are working. The manuals are here for them as well. By the way if anyone is interested in buying them pm me. No price is solid.

Canon T70 camera body $20.00
Minolta XG-1 Camera body $35.00
Sears 80-200mm lens $35.00
Minolta 50mm lens $50.00
Minolta Battery Holder $10.00
Cosina 35-135mm Macro Lens $30.00

That some pretty old obsolete gear. By obsolete I mean that there are no cameras made today that can use these lenses (assuming the Sears and Cosina are Minolta or Canon manual focus mounts).

The price on the 50mm seems high unless it's an F 1.4, but even if it is it will be a tough sell.

Therer are adaptors to use old lenses on Micro 4/3 and Sony NEX and others, but the only lens that might be of interest is the 50mm and only if it's a F 1.4.

Both cameras were entry level cameras in their day. Lots of plastic and aimed at the comsumer market. Seeing as they are pushing 30+ years, I would wonder about their working condition.

If there's a student or someone interested in shooting and developing film, there might be some interest.
