Wow, he's on the no-fly list because he's given to charities which might divert funds to terrorists. I am sure it was unknowingly (I've seen interviews with him when he semi-came out of retirement.)
By this logic, isn't anyone who paid or hired Timothy McVeigh is guilty of the same thing? He used his savings to bankroll his bombing? And wasn't the US government a former employer of his?

Here's another story, from CNN:Flight diverted after Cat Stevens found on watch list
That Cat Stevens was denied entry should not be the thrust of the story. Isn't it more important to note that the plane took off with someone on the watch list aboard. Shouldn't the system have caught that before takeoff? |
