Choose among the worst-scoring or your challenge images. Re-create it, attempting to show improvement.

Special rule: you must choose among one of your bottom 3 images and it must be obvious that you have done so (the new image must meet the challenge from the prior image).

One can't be made any better without still scoring a 4.3, and the other two were "a place in time" type photos I can't recreate. I'd have to sit this one out.

I can't remember what it was called but I remember we did this once before. Or maybe it was brown ribbon winners.

i like the idea if it calls for a re-shoot, not just a re-edit.

Your special rule will have SC comparing photos to previous challenge entries to determine an "obvious" connection. sounds like lots of extra work and controversy.

True. BUT I'm creating JOBS DAMMIT!!! ;)
I don't normally suggest challenges and I'm finding re-wording this to be quite ... uhhh, "fun?"

OK -

"Choose from among your 3 worst-scoring challenge images. Re-create it, attempting to show improvement. You may use a different subject if you want but it should meet the challenge from the previous image. Your choice should not be from a previous "Free Study" or special challenge.

If you cheat and use this as an opportunity as a free study your image will NOT be DQ'd, but the DPC community will publicly chastise, humiliate and make a fool of you for your silliness."

This assumes the worst scoring images need the most improvement. This may be true, and if it is true, perhaps there can be no improvement short of fire...

Perhaps let the person pick which one to improve, or, take your best shot, and try to improve on it?

Yea gads, you do realize you're asking the impossible here...you think I can improve on my worst ever image...BAHAHAHAAHAAAAAA

"Think about how crappy some of the photos you used to take were.
Go to your profile and stare at photos that you wish you had not submitted.
Feel shame as you peruse things you would rather forget.
Then go take a better photo of whatever you want."

Special rule: If you have no poor, shameful images that you don't like, you may not participate.

=D
