O.K., I'm not the best in the world at this photography thing, but since I have the day off (and a short "Honey do" list), I'll have some time throughout the day. I was thinking of looking over some photos on the site and was wondering if anyone wanted me to look at their portfolio and leave comments. Be fore warned, I'm far from a pro! :)

There's not much in mine, but any input on my previous contest entries is always appreciated

Sometimes just reading the comments left by others is a big help. Peruse profiles at random and look at comments left. You may be inspired to leave your own comment, or not.

I've been on a real roller coaster ride with my DPC entries. That might give you a good idea of what works and what doesn't. I've experienced both ends of the spectrum!

Wow, Len, your portfolio is awesome ... I like the diversity - of subjects and styles (and scores :-)). You are so close and hope that you get that elusive ribbon soon.

While all comments are certainly appreciated, might I suggest instead, going out and taking some pictures and posting them for us to comment on? :)

That's what I do with my spare time, which I never seem to have anymore

Good idea Deannda! I think I'll do just that. The "Honey Do" list can wait. :)

Having a day off when everyone else has to do their regular thing (work, school, etc.) is an under appreciated treasure. Would be a shame to spend all of it at the keyboard.

I'd love to hear your comments, subjective and otherwise, on any photos you care to in my portfolio.

I was able to get out and take some photos. How about this one for the smoke challenge

If you get a chance, stop by my portfolio and check out the others. There's about 21 or so in a folder called Sep 21, 2004. Hope you like them, Ray
